Privacy Policy: JazzyJobs
Last updated: July 2026
JazzyJobs is a browser extension that filters job listings on LinkedIn's Jobs
pages (linkedin.com/jobs/*). This policy explains what the extension does
and does not do with your data.
What JazzyJobs does
- Reads the job listings visible on LinkedIn Jobs pages you're already
viewing, purely to determine which ones to hide based on your settings
(Easy Apply status, company name, company size, and blocked keywords).
- Stores your settings and filter preferences (hidden companies, blocked
phrases, thresholds) locally in your browser using the standard
chrome.storage.local API.
- Caches small amounts of data locally: company size ("51-200 employees")
and job description snippets: so filters can be applied to listings you
haven't opened yet, without needing to re-fetch anything.
What JazzyJobs does not do
- It does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any of your data with
Anthropic, the developer, LinkedIn, or any third party.
- It does not use any remote server, analytics service, or tracking script.
- It does not read or store your LinkedIn login, profile, messages,
connections, or any personal account information.
- It does not run on any site other than
linkedin.com/jobs/*.
Where your data lives
Everything JazzyJobs stores (settings, hidden companies, blocked phrases,
cached company sizes and description snippets) stays in your browser's
local extension storage, on your device. Uninstalling the extension or
clearing its storage removes this data permanently. Nothing is ever sent
off your device.
Changes to this policy
